Checking In and Out

Parents must sign their children in and out each day using the “Sign-In & Out” sheet on the table in the hallway. This is very important, because State Regulations require that we know who is in the building at all times. If you forget to check your child in or out, please let the Director or Assistant know immediately.

Parents are welcome to visit at any time and may participate in al center activities and field trips. Please be sure to escort your child into the center and into their classroom, making sure that you leave them in direct care of a Staff member. If you have more than one child at our center, we ask that you take your older child to their classroom first. It can be unsafe for our toddlers to have older children in their rooms. Please keep your child by your side at all times in the building. Do not allow them to wander to another classroom or offices. The child may not be signed in or out by anyone under the age of 18.

The paperwork you will fill out upon enrollment regarding your child lists family members or friends who you authorize to pick up your child. When friends or family come to pick up, we will ask them to present a picture ID and compare the name to the name in the child’s file. We will then release your child to them. Please make sure that only those people whom you are comfortable with having this privilege are on that list.
