In compliance with Minimum Standards #746.501(24) New Generation Child Care Center will provide a comfortable place with an adult-size chair in the “Reading Room” or vacant Teacher’s Office that will enable a mother to breastfeed her child. We further support and comply with a parent having the right to breastfeed or provide breast milk for their child while in our care.
The following listed items will be available for a breastfeeding mom in the selected areas for breastfeeding such as:
- A pillow to support her infant in her lap
- A step stool for her to prop her feet and prevent back strain,
- Water or other liquid to help her stay hydrated.
