Children must be symptom-free for 24 hours without the use of acetaminophen or other fever-reducing medicines before returning to the center. This will allow the child to fully recover and return rested and able to participate in all activities. A physician’s medical clearance to return to the center, stating your child is not contagious and able to participate in daily activities, is required if your child will be returning within 24 hours.
A medical clearance also is required for all illnesses that are either communicable or contagious, regardless of the time the child is away from the center. New Generation Child Care Center reserves the right to send a child home or not admit a child into the center based on illnesses that are not included in the list above.
